MHSAA Guidelines; May 29

MHSAA Guidelines: https://www.mhsaa.com/Portals/0/Documents/AD%20Forms/Guidance%205-29-20.pdf The MHSAA has published its new guidelines for athletics starting with summer workouts. The Hanover-Horton athletic booster club is holding its annual golf outing at Arbor Hills on Friday June 26. The 4 person scramble is a shotgun start at 9:00 AM. Mike Schick Named Boys Soccer Coach

Mike Schick has been named boys soccer coach at Hanover-Horton replacing Robert Johnson who had a work conflict with this season. Coach Schick assisted Coach Johnson last year and is excited to get started. Hanover-Horton athletic department is very happy to add Coach Schick to the coaching staff.

MHSAA New Guidelines and Update

The MHSAA has changed the requirements for physicals for the 2020-20201 school year. Because of the Covid virus, if a student-athlete had a physical on file last school year, they will not need a new one this year. The MHSAA explained this decision based on doctors believing that they will not have enough available time

Alexander State Champion Bowler

Kassidy Alexander became the second Hanover-Horton bowler to win a state championship Saturday at Royal Scot lanes in Lansing.  Kassidy had to qualify for matchplay and then defeated 5 different girls in winning the state championship. Way to go!
