Middle School Football Sweeps Reading

The Hanover-Horton Comets 7th and 8th Grade football teams each defeated Reading Wednesday evening. The 7th Grade won 32-0 while the 8th grade won 44-22. Both teams host Jonesville next Wednesday to conclude the season.

Soccer in District Final Wednesday

The Hanover-Horton Comets moved on to their first district championship game by defeating Michigan Center 8-0 Monday at Sharpe Park. The Comets will face Brooklyn Columbia-Central Wednesday at 4:30 at Columbia-Central. The Comets defeated the Eagles last week in the Independant League crossover game 3-1 in a hard fought game.

8th Grade Volleyball Wins; 7th Grade drops Third Game

8th grade defeated VCL 21-8, 21-13, 21-13 tonight at home. 9-0 in the conference. Last match of the season this Wednesday @Napoleon. The 7th grade volleyball team split the first 2 sets with Vandercook last night but came up short in the 3rd set. Scores were 13-21, 21-7, 14-21.

Middle School Cross Country at Sand Creek

The Middle School Cross Country Team competed at the Sand Creek Invitational last night. They competed against 18 other schools. Boys placed 3rd overall. Scoring for the boys was Nick Sorrow with a time of 12:27, Landen Boulis, Evan Shepherd, Zach Hassenzahl, and AJ Fielder. 6 boys brought home medals! The girl’s team placed 5th
