Comets Fall to Addison

The Hanover-Horton Comets lost to Addison 50-21 last Friday night. Trent Hocter scored two TD’s and Gabe French caught a 48 yard TD from Garrett Gumper. The Comets cut the Panthers lead to 7 in the 4th quarter but gave up a kick-off return for a TD and lost the ensuing Addison kick-off. The Comets

MS Volleyball Teams Defeat Grass Lake

The 7th grade volleyball team defeated Grass Lake 21-16, 21-3, 21-13. The 8th grade team claimed victory over GL 21-15, 21-19, 21-15. Next game Monday @EJ.

8th Grade Football Completes Comeback Win

The Hanover-Horton Comets 8th Grade football team faced a 14-0 deficit at halftime against Michigan Center Wednesday evening but controlled the 2nd half and scored the go ahead TD with less than 30 seconds remaining to pull out a 22-14 victory. MS CC Results

This past Tuesday the Middle School Cross Country team competed at Grass Lake against Grass Lake and Michigan Center. All runners had great races and almost everyone had a PR!  One athlete even ran almost 8 minutes faster! Boys team lost to Grass Lake 14 to 22 but beat Michigan Center 10 to 34! Scoring

JV Comets Fall to Cardinals

The Hanover-Horton JV football team lost to Michigan Center 28-22 Monday night. Logan Blackledge, Seth Dailey, and Davon Ackley all scored for the Comets. Hanover-Horton will play Addison at home next Monday

Both Middle School Volleyball Teams Defeat Napoleon

Middle School Volleyball opened their season at Naopleon on Monday. 8th grade volleyball defeated Napoleon 21-18, 21-7, 21-17 last night in their first match of the season. We will travel to GL on Wednesday. The seventh grade volleyball defeated Napoleon last night, 21-5, 21-3, 21-11.

Comets Defeat Center

The Hanover-Horton Comets opened their 2020 season finally with a hard fought 21-14 victory over Michigan Center. Trent Hocter scored all three touchdowns and had 104 yards rushing. Randy Frailey added 53 yards. Garrett Gumper was 10-16 passing for 136 yards. Evan Keeder had 4 receptions for 69 yards. Gabe French had 3 for 38.

H-H Spectator Rules

Because or the MHSAA rules and guidelines and the Executive orders placed on our region, the Cascades conference and Hanover-Horton has created a spectator plan for all athletic events.  MHSAA rules are allowing 2 spectators per participant. Each team member will list two people they would like to attend their game/meet/event the day prior to

The red team defeated the white team 26-6 Friday night. The teams were made up of a combination of JV and varsity players. The Comets open the regular season next Friday at Michigan Center.

MS CC Boys Win, Girls 5th

Boys team took first place and brought home a trophy! Scoring for the comets was Nicholas Sorrow taking 9th place with a time of 6:21.2, Zach Hassenzahl 11th, AJ Fielder 15th, Brodey Bially 17th, and Dylan Bailey 29th. The Girls teams took 5th place and had some great times! Scoring for the comets was Macy Fazekas
