Comets News · Comets Fall to Concord 51-49


The Hanover-Horton Comets football team ran out of time Friday night and fell just short to Concord. The Comets finished with a 4-5 record and 4th place in the Cascades Conference. Garrett Gumper  finished 13-18 for 266 yards and 3 touchdowns. Trent Hocter had 126 yards rushing and 100 yards receiving.

The Comets celebrated the contributions of 7 senior players; York Bahlau, Sean Balfour, Kurtis Hollenbeck, William Dick, Cameron Worley, Mason North, and captain Griffin Fedore.

Fedore, Worley, and Hocter will be honored at halftime of the Addison-Reading game for making all-conference.

Hocter finished the season with the second best rushing year in school history with 1279 yards. He also had the 4th most points scored with 122.
