The Hanover-Horton wrestling team went to Napoleon to wrestle Napoleon and Vandercook Lake. The Comets lost to Napoleon 52-18. Dakota Manee pinned his man 14 seconds in to win at 140. Zach Thomas also won by a fall at 1:10 of the 1st period. Colin Zieman won by void.
The second match against Vandercook came down to the last match. York Bahlau was injured due to an illegal move. He could have taken the victory but he wanted to earn it. He battled and impressed his teammates and coach but couldn’t overcome the injury and the Comets came up a little short. Aothe winning wrestlers included Manee by fall 1:10 in the 1st, Thomas by fall 1:39 in the 1st, Mickey Cossel by fall at 3:14, Devin Boland by fall at 1:07, Hunter Robinson by fall at 1:39, and Frank Bird by void.
The team has improved greatly as the season has gone. They will compete at the Jonesville Invitational on saturday
