The Hanover-Horton baseball and softball fields hosted a Turface field day Wednesday. Representatives from several area schools were in attendance as the dirt surfaces of both fields were re-done giving the Comets two of the best fields in the area.
The Hanover-Horton Athletic Boosters are hosting their annual cash bash draw down on March 12, 2016 at the Davis Convention Center in Vandercook Lake. The cost is $70 for two people to attend. The varsity softball team defeated Homer in a pre-district game by a score of 6 to 5. Winning pitcher Emma Davis and Alexis Brockie led the Comets with 2 hits each.
The varsity softball team dropped a doubleheader to Napoleon by scores of 15 to 5 and 18 to 5. In the first game, Brooke Watkins, Rachel Dennison and Emma Davis each had 2 hits for H-H. In game #2, Penny Bigham had 2 hits to lead the Comets.
The first day of practice for all High School Spring Sports in March 9, 2015. Please be sure that your student-athlete has a current physical on file. If he/she doesn’t have a physical on file he/she will not be able to participate at all until one is handed into the High School Office.
The Hanover-Horton Athletic Boosters have scheduled their third annual Casino Trip for February 7, 2015. This year the bus will be leaving at 2:30 pm and returning by 10:00 pm. The Hanover-Horton High School proudly honored 9 athletes this past Thursday at the Gene Davis Dining Hall by the Cascade Conference for their work in the classroom and with athletics. The student-athletes honored were: Megan Klintworth, Shannon Richardson, Jordan Rigelman, Payton Dunning, Keelie Schmidt, Kylee Ackley, Tristan Swartout, Kayla Piloske, and Kim O’Connell.
